There’s something encouraging about driving down Spring Avenue. Maybe it’s the old houses, but tonight the familiarity of the street gave me the courage for this first blog.
I’ve been reading Blog Inc. by Joy Deangdeelert Cho, and I have to say, she definitely has pushed me further into the idea of blogging. I intuitively knew that I should be blogging; but tonight, leaving a fitting for the Darling Vintage I was feeling more inclined than ever to step up to bat and swing. I’ve been holding the bat for awhile now, might as well try to hit something. Rachel said Sioux Falls needs leaders.
Speaking of loving more, JAM Art and Supplies has acquired one board member: introducing Ruble, our favorite tax man. He’s been a true friend for many years, and it just so happens that he’s smart as hell. JAM Art & Supplies is better for having his expertise and heart on board.
I’m looking for probably two more board members. Someone who has been on a non profit board of directors before, and a non profit lawyer. If you know someone who’d fit the bill let me know at Jamartandsupplies@gmail.com
