I have never started a nonprofit before, and it’s a little nerve racking, but I feel much better standing with this team. Our Board of Directors is ready to take on this project to provide unique space and art supplies to Sioux Falls artists. Without further ado, and in alphabetical order, I present to you the JAM Art & Supplies Board of Directors.

Image Board Member & Incorporator, Amy Jarding business woman by day, artist by night. She studied english and history at the University of South Dakota, graduated 2010. Amy and I met through mutual friends back in our angsty, teen years.

Image Treasurer, Dan Soper. HR director by day, golfer by night, Broncos fan and legend 24/7. Originally from Iowa, Dan moved to Sioux Falls after marrying his wife in 2009. Dan’s wife is my mom.

Image me, President Jess Johnson. A stay at home mother by day, artist and dreamer by night. I studied art at Augustana College here in Sioux Falls.

Image Secretary and Incorporator, Katie Farritor. Senior Graphic Designer by day, photographer and blogger by night. Katie studied digital arts & design at Dakota State University. Katie and I went to middle school and high school together.

Image Vice President, “Ruble” Shamsul Alam Pataray. Taxman and professional student by day; devoted son, Packer’s fan, and goodtiming man by night. Originally from Khula, Bangladesh, I met Ruble serving coffee at Black Sheep Coffee.

Image Board Member, Ryan P. Attorney, husband, father, and Cubs Fan. I do not know Ryan well, but Ruble vouched for him. And I’d trust Ruble with my life.

Well, there you have it folks! Any questions? Don’t be afraid to ask jamartandsupplies@gmail.com
