Have Tos and Have Dones

Getting JAM Art & Supplies into an actual retail space is the ultimate goal. But, everyday I have to commit myself to little goals. I’m sure you all deal with this in your lives too.

This week I have to fill out the “Articles of Incorporation” form to mail off our application to the Secretary of State so we can become a Domestic Nonprofit of South Dakota. I have to admit, I wanted to get this done last week, but it’s not a very friendly form to use. You can not copy paste into the blanks, nor can you save the form to work on later.

Another thing I need to complete this week is organizing the supplies I received this weekend. We have continued getting donations from eager and generous people. Today I received 3 boxes in the mail full art supplies.

I may be a little sleep deprived but, that doesn’t mean I haven’t made some headway into this project. Last week, I finalized our Board of Directors, got our initial First Friday review done, had an inspiring meeting with Katie to talk about an upcoming super-special, super-not-top-secret addition to the blog, and talked to Jessica at Elofson about making her store a donation station so I don’t always have to pick up the donations.

SMALL WINS!
