A Short Assessment of Inventory

Today my sister helped me organize the donations JAM received over the weekend. My grandmother gave us a whole lot of antique buttons, paper, drawing and painting supplies. Nell passed on craft supplies from years worth of bein’ crafty and a crayon maker. And, Mary, who’s cleaning out her junk room to welcome a baby, donated canvases, fabric, and paper. I have to say, I LOVE THIS JOB. Getting to look through all these treasure troves is a marvel.

When I was younger I was most content organizing all of my art supplies. So, to get all of these art and craft supply donations, and to organize them, is really, A DREAM COME TRUE!

Furthermore, I can already tell, I’m going to need a lot more boxes for organizing these supplies. Right now I’m just using regular old card board boxes, but when the time comes for getting the inventory on the shelves hopefully we can get our hands on some see-through tupperware and totes.

Do you have cardboard boxes or totes you can donate?

  1. Are you interested in sewing patterns? I have used them in the past for paper making and decopage. They also make a great substitute for regular tissue paper.
